On Thursday of our beach week, we went to...the beach! We built a wall. We manned the wall.

We went to the Ventura Mall. Bowden elected to stay at the Beach House with Nanny, so the other three chickens were herded to the play area once they were sick of shopping.

Lucy assumed the position while Aunt Rosie fixed her hair.


Selah Paix-la took a ride on a dolphin.
We walked to Seabridge. Have I ever mentioned on here that I love Seabridge?
I like walking along the harbor and getting delicious things to eat, and then playing.
I like the workouts.
Only on those fun Seabridge outdoor workout thingies, of course.
Bowden loves to be like his Aunt Rosie.

Lucy was not amused. And not game, at all.
Jack always goes to sleep better for Josh. Especially on the porch swing.

We are a beach family. This beach here is the first Pacific Ocean beach that Bowden ever went to. Mom and Bowden talk.

I wish I was more ashamed of my body...but Jack's grip is just too adorable.
He wanted to be near the water, but once there, he was a monkey of a boy.
The sea was angry that day, my friends. The waves were very rough, and while holding Jack, I was knocked to my knees and forced to lock them so as to stay out of the water. The ground was more rock than sand.
