July 25- Tuesday
My mom came up to pick me up on Monday night, but we didn't leave until Tuesday morning. It turned out to be an excellent decision, since the San Fernando Valley had a high of 115 degrees and was shockingly humid. We were at my mom's house for a few hours, but it was too much. Lucy looked like a wet cat...if that cat was of the nearly hairless variety.
We got to Oxnard at 3pm and found immediate relief from the ocean air, but Rosie and I left for Lisa's house right away to help her pack up her apartment. It was the best time I've ever had packing, and it was exciting to realize that I was going to get to spend a lot more time with Lisa...
We got dinner from Baja Fresh, and played cards for a few hours after the babies went to bed.
