Our walk was cut short by the beginning of a hail storm that became the strangest snow storm I've ever experienced. At a few points during the day and night, hail, snow, lightning and thunder were all present at the same time. Whoa, trippy....

I'm still so sad that Griff didn't come to Cali with us. Seeing Bowden on a walk-with-necessary-pirate-sword confirms that he and Griff would be fast friends... though I never had my doubts.
