Took the kids to play outside for a while...it is hot enough to stay in the shade, for momma, at least. I keep thinking about how much I want to drink a nice iced coca-cola from a straw- and get refill after refill.

I had contractions all day yesterday...some painful, some just uncomfortable, and we realized that everyone we have lined up to watch the chickens was gone out of town. I thought that Jack might be here today, and my ever-loving husband helped me fold the monster loads of clean clothes I had around...so I actually have only one load of laundry to wash...my room is cleaner than it's ever been, the house is neat, and best of all, I finished wrapping Bowden's birthday gifts last night, so everything is as ready as it can be for the party...on the tenth...six days away. I'd like to have this baby today or tomorrow or not until the 11th. I'm putting in an order.

This is such a disjointed post- but- it is nice to know how much I've accomplished of my to-do list, it's nice to have Bowden's birthday ready to roll even if I'm out of it, and it's nice to know that my body didn't just forget how to have a baby. I'm feeling blessed today...and achy and tired. Praise the Lord!
