To escape the heat, Tricia took Lisa and the kids and me to Pecos Park, a public park with a wading pool rivaled only by Raging Waters in San Dimas. The kids loved it, but I only got pictures as we were leaving, so Lucy is wailing in all of them.
And more as she sees again the pipes that send out water.
I let them play on the outside equipment briefly because of how excellent the giant rattlesnakes and gila monsters were.
When we got to the car to drive home, our car was beeping like R2-D2 and wouldn't start, so we got gas and called triple A, and then Tricia told me to try again-I did, and it started, and it turns out that the problem is the battery...God definitely protected us- it seems like we broke down in the best of circumstances, with little worry.
