Nine months old, all Jack wants to do is stand up. He can't get there on his own, but he'll stay as long as he doesn't lean too far to one side or the other.

He's very proud of the standing. He has five teeth now, and can say "dada" and "mama" and the "uh" part of uh-oh. Sometimes "mama" sounds more like "nana," but it means ME.
He's cutting another tooth, and is, therefore, a snot monster. This is his first time wearing these handsome p.j.s from his Aunt Sandy. Bowden said, "I like your motorcycles, Jacky!"

What? He's standing, and talking? When did this happen?
And has 2 million teeth!

What a chunk! Those are some pretty sweet jams. Aunt Sandy sure knows her stuff!

I gotta say, he could be in the King-of-the-cheeks running... Did you see my throw-back post to the days when Griff's cheeks had a mind of their own? Check it. Jack's clearly trying to usurp the thrown

How I miss seeing this little face in person. Bowby and Lucy as well. You wait. . .you will go to get him out of his crib and he will be standing up waiting for you. Thanks for posting.

jack is pretty far behind selah, except in the teeth region. and maybe the uh-oh thing too...

and sandy...i did see those arensen cheeks- they seem to exist in a world all their own, complete with atmosphere and gravity. i love them, and it's pretty sweet that jack can compete...but he loses!

Go, Snot Monster, go! (Doesn't have quite the same ring as "Speed Racer," but it'll do.)
