My mother threw me a party on Staurday, and invited all of my nearby relatives. The Whites were here, but Lisa had to rush back to Camp to make food for the hungry campers.
I was amazed and grateful that so much of my family showed up, despite the late invitation. My cousin Dave was there, happily holding babies. This is my newest cousin, Victoria Fusano.
She's a month old, and slept most of the time, of course.
Jack fell asleep right on the floor without a whimper, and we moved him to the couch to be guarded from all the cousin feet running around.
My Aunt Marlene, ever the busy bee, couldn't rest in the middle of a party. She weeded the flower pots, directed the removal of some of the older ones, and then made a run for the beach while she could.
My Aunt Cherie and my Mom rest in the shade.
Cherice, my cousin, and Grandma Gigi.
Mikenna, calling a dog.
Eventually a movie was turned on to keep the stir-crazy children happy, but only Leyla and Lucy chose to watch Swan Lake Barbie. And dance.
It was wonderful. I felt very loved. What a nice birthday(s)!
