That is followed by Jacky-needs-a-paci time, which lasts until he gets hungry again or falls asleep.
In some of these pictures you might see his blond hair poking out, but honestly, you can't see it unless he's in the bath. Mostly he has a funny dark mohawk and some Ben Franklin side hair.
I have hopes that this jolliness will grow and grow, as will nighttime sleepiness. A mother can dream, no?

It't well worth the hair loss. And he's filling out his little sleepers now.
Such a wonderful little person. I love how he looks. Similar and yet so different! He does seem to have a ready smile. You still seem to be producing rocket fuel.

I'll dream along with you, because although the pictures of Cute and Grumpy Jack make me laugh, I'm sure seeing him scowl on the screen elicits a different response than holding that scowl in one's lap.
Plus, Jolly Jack looks pretty cute, himself.
